No Kill Louisville
October 18, 2012 - There are many reasons why embracing and implementing the No Kill Equation will make a difference for the homeless pets in our community.
But today I am thinking of just one. Her name is Cookie and she is the reason I am asking for your continued support.
Cookie has a bad case of pneumonia. She was brought to the J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter in Indiana when her elderly guardian lost her home. Cookie required immediate treatment for her illness, so No Kill Louisville stepped in and got her the help she needed. With your support, she is getting better
Sadly, most sick pets in shelters aren’t as lucky as Cookie. Even a treatable illness like pneumonia can be a death sentence for a homeless pet.
But like us, our friends at J.B. Ogle don’t think it has to be. We have partnered to build a No Kill community in Jeffersonville, Indiana where every healthy and treatable pet has a second chance.
You have helped so many homeless pets in our community—you’ve embraced the No Kill movement and you’ve supported our efforts to stop the killing. Now join me in helping pets like Cookie who just need a little extra TLC with a tax-deductible gift.
Thank you for all that you do for homeless pets and the vision of a No Kill community.
President, No Kill Louisville
P.S. With your help, Cookie is making a full recovery! A great family has even stepped up to adopt her when she’s healthy enough to go home. We hope every healthy and treatable pet can have a happy ending like Cookie.
